Looks like they are telling employees that there is no other option. Looks like stevy Hornady is a spineless pssy when it comes to protecting his employees.Lets give them some hate and hope all their workers leave them high and dry. If we dont end this now it will be endless updates.

If this is real; what are the options? Completely shutdown the company due to OSHA enforced regulations, possibly opening the company to fines on top of being shut down, loosing all current and future .gov contracts, and put EVERY employee out of a job, or loose the few employees who refuse to get a shot?

Seems like an easy choice for someone running a multi million dollar company.

Don't construe this with me agreeing with the choice, but from a financial standpoint and the taking into account the future solvency of the company, he is making the best choice for the company.

That's the downfall of having gov contract. Their way or highway.

Fortunately, this process will take a while. It went from required in XX amount of time to delayed of nearly 3 months. Just enough for us to complete the fire season and not worry about it til next season. Which is likely sorted out by then.

I don't doubt probably a fraction will fall to get the shot to get over that hump. Because job is worth it.

Though, it will be interesting era if every employee refuse a shot, not sure Biden admin wants to mention highest unemployment rate on their record.

At some point men need to make a stand and stop defending the their company their rules crap. American men have become pathetic. It's our bodies our choice when you want to vacuum a baby out of momma after they rip it apart but when it comes to this it is our company our choice over your body. Biden has not even written the order on paper and companies are forcing it.

So whose rules do you propose they use to run their company?

When Obamacare hit I was faced with a decision. Take it in the crapper or not. I chose not. I took my companies and split them into multiple companies under the ceiling of where you had to comply and thumbed my fkucing nose at them. Companies can do this right now and thumb their noses at this Bidenfag. If everyone who had a federal contract grew a pair and told them to source it somewhere else this crap would end quick.

I wonder how they reconcile caving to the government bullying with their Second Amendment rights. Government contract or not, you have to draw a line.

Oh this idiot is back again. I hope to God your whole fanily took this shot. Just lay down for the government and open those legs wide for them. Why are you even on a gun forum since you hate America and freedom?

Yes! This has been on my mind since they mentioned that 100 employee threshold, but you're the first person that I've heard mention this tactic.

Make all the non-management layers be 1099.

I am a fkucing asshole. I do not like being told what to do or how to spend my money. I created those companies and myself and my employees decide the medical plan. Not fudge packer obama or child fondler Bidet. We split everything up into companies subcontracting for the shell corporation. Not a fkcuing thing they could do about it. Then I self funded our own healthcare fund which employees paid into. I hired multiple doctors and built a lab. Brought in our own radiology department. Had a small private hospital and even surgical suites for minor surgeries. Not one single patient wore a mask during this covid lie.

This is how you win, not by caving. Find a work around so you don't have to comply. Sadly most companies are not run by a asshole like me who says I see your rules and I walk around them.

Now we are thinking!!!!!!! This is how you do it.

With the ammo crunch scheduled to go on for the duration of Biden's occupation, there is no excuse.

Abandoned federal contacts would allow Hornady to focus on rescuing their main customers,...us. And in the process of shortening and lessening the severity of the ammo crisis, earn our love and loyalty. Not to mention the whole "do the right thing" issue on government mandates and employee relations.

There might be a bit of transition discomfort,...but those fed contracts are not as superior to regular demand as they once were. Steve needs to pull his head out of azz and tell Biden to shove his orders up his.

My last job I was 1099. It was great. I wrote off EVERYTHING! Think I might have paid a total of 3% of my gross in taxes those years.

Of course, you don’t have an actual answer that doesn’t make you sound like a pure socialist, so you decide to rattle off a few sentences of pure stupidity.

A) Obamacare treats a controlled group, which is what you’re describing, as a single employer. So assuming you aren’t completely full of shit (huge assumption on my part), you actually accomplished nothing.

B) What constitutes an employee (w-2) vs an independent contractor (1099) is a factual matter based on their duties and responsibilities and not a matter of how you report compensation. Just because you issue someone a 1099 instead of a w-2 doesn’t make them an independent contractor. Yes, I know, “Billy Bob’s pappy down at the scrap yard has done it for years” but all that means is that it hasn’t been scrutinized. If Hornady, or any other significant employer, tried doing it they would accomplish nothing but incurring some pretty significant payroll tax penalties.

Federal contracts suck ballsacks. They always run down your profit and then they push stipulations like this crap.
