The old forum had a thread on this. Just kinda reviving it.

So growing up I remember watching:
12 O'Clock High
Rat Patrol
Johnny Quest
Combat
The Rifleman
I Spy

Wife and I also love the westerns.

This website lists all the guns used in movies, it is quite handy :

Wanted: Dead or Alive, Dirty Harry Series of movies, Heat, Big Jake, Winchester 73 and a bunch of others.

Johnny Quest was a really good cartoon for the time.

Speaking of cartoons - the animated series on FX called "Archer" is pretty hilarious and awesome. The realism they put into the firearms rendering and cars is the best I have seen in the genre. That, and any series that has a season where they basically do a knock-off of the old 80s show "Tales of the Golden Monkey" is a total win in my book.
