The GOP senators that added in and expanded the bill to include SBRs and Any other Weapons doomed the entire thing. GOP Staffers were complaining about this at the start. I couldn’t help but wonder if it was overconfidence or incompetence or just a political move to create more hate for democrats or a move to appease big money donors while still looking good. Then there was the whole who the heck is reporting on this and are they even credible issue.
