Looking for one that still does paper forms.

Can anyone recommend an FFL for transfers in the Northwest valley?

How much does your recommendation charge for first item, additional items?
Thank you

I would suspect thats mostly the home based FFLs.
There are a few in Suprise, I know a board member that's used one close to him.
I will message him to toss that name out if he remembers.

He said it's half cocked weapons

Arrow Security northwest corner of 67th Avenue and Greenway. $15 with a CCW $20 without.
They don't use paper forms anymore. They went to electronic.

Why is paper important? Same end result.

i havent filled out a paper form in a long time, goes pretty quick if you dont screw up, lol, seems like no matter how many i fill out i miss something.
i'm still confused about my selection on gender though, thought i knew but in last few months ive been wholly fouled up on what i am. lol

Because "gun registry" I'd guess..

If that's the issue, then it's a misplaced concern. The electronic form is kept locally, just like the paper. The ATF publishes a lot of rules for backup etc. to insure it doesn't get wiped out. Ultimately, if the FFL gives up the license, they turn in all the 4473, their "book", and or their data files of all 4473 and electronic book.

Paper 4473 are now scanned and digitized. The keywords associated with the images are identifying information of the buyer and identifying information of the firearm(s). Many years ago I worked with a company on a proposal to the ATF for the paperless storage of 4473s and the FFL books turned in by dealers.

Bottom line is they all end up as computerized records so, an initial electronic entry just makes it less costly and time-consuming to get there.

I'd rather my forms not be stored on a computer/server connected to the internet.

That's fair. Most FFLs use a laptop or a specific computer. You are right that it is likely hooked to the Internet.

I'd suggest Stronghand, but he doesn't like work LOL

Damn straight. Too many "bag of gun" being dropped off lately.

Seriously though still doing transfers and whatnot. Not doing coatings until I finish moving into a bigger workspace and install the new blast and cook.

You wouldn't happen to do hot bluing would you? Or just modern nitride?

Nope. Just the spray coatings and hydro dipping.

If they wanted to do a registry they'd just have us start including the serials when we run your NICS with your DL#. I tell customers not to put their social because its really unnecessary unless you have a John Smith name. The few overworked ATF agents that get constantly reshuffled aren't evil despots. Everyone I've dealt with in AZ have been awesome. With all the overreach and lack of limitations they've been going nuts with if they wanted to be omnipotent overlords they would have already and the NRA woulda supported it while asking for donations. You think your 4473 is less secure than your IP address or the smart phone listening to you constantly right in front of your face?

Electronic forms. Yeah, seems nearly all have gone to them now. There's at least four brands of software for dealers' 4473. Thee fastest and most efficient at this is Tombstone at Metro center. Great software chosen, and they have full-size confuser monitors for you to view your efforts on, LOL.

You may want to check with Guns Plus on Dysart between Greenway and Bell. I don't know their rate, but they are good folks that may be closer to you.
