Like to know if there was a peaceful protest happening there.

I doubt unless out of stock due to current panic anyone would not think a gun store has a lot of guns.

Shop could have said we have more inventory in stock instead of saying we have 1000 weapons in the store.

Probably not a good idea to post how many guns you have on social media.
That was a gun store, not a personal collection.

As others have opined...it's a bit odd to suggest that the gun store helped bring this about, because they "dared" advertise that they actually had guns in their inventory. Fixating on the number? Silly.

We just got a 100 guns of new shipment.

Yes, in my opinion is does matter.

Another would be a jewelry store or any store saying that they have $500k in inventory vs someone with $15 million in inventory.

Like I said the best thing they could have said was that they got a new shipment in.

We live in crazy times and there are a lot of crazy people. The shop probably wasn't thinking about it at the time but probably will now.

Please forgive me for being a little slow on the uptake here, so you are saying that it is the Gun stores fault that they go robbed, Is that what your saying?

No I am not.

It's unfortunate for what has happened. And it seems like who ever broke in was going to break-in anyways since they knew what they were doing. Not your normal criminal.

The one thing I have learned from social media is to be wise with what you say.

So then you concede that their ad, regardless of its content, had no bearing on the break-in. Seems like that was my point, along with several others.

If you don't understand stand what I said then you don't, 🤷🏻‍♂️. I thought I laid it out pretty simple, but hey I guess not.

I going to just leave it at that.

No battery backups for the security systems?

Joke's on them.

From the article:

The thieves in Monday’s burglary had a “level of sophistication” and cut the power to the building, disabling the store’s security and surveillance systems, Mangas said.

I can't believe that their security system did not have a back up system. My Dad owned a gun shop and in the early 70s his system had a power back up on it. Like Jager said it's been around for decades.

Did you understand what I posted?

Yes. I realized I saw that and hit send and was too lazy to go back and correct it. lol.

My bad.

Yeah weird, I don't know any security system without backup power. Im notified the moment the power is out.
