Extender for Mossy 930

Picked up a 930, was told they had a problem with the gap between the tube and the extender, causing something like a rim lock. Really sucks when rated capacity is 7 and you can't load more than 5. Anyone know who makes a plus3 extension that addresses this problem? And where to buy it? Thanks.
