The article goes on about how they hated each other and how Trump was going to play golf at a fundraiser, and it's not until the very last paragraph that they admit:
Reuters NEVER used to stoop to this. They touted themselves as "business and financial news". I don't like being told how to think. I just want information and fact, and to make up my own mind. Until recently I was able to rely on Reuters for that, although I saw some bias during Sandy Hook. But this was below the standards of an organization that, until now, was fairly decent.
I'm disgusted. There's almost nowhere left to turn...

McCain helped plan the events around his funeral. He made it clear to family and friends that he wanted Democratic former Vice President Joe Biden, Bush and Obama to speak - but that Trump was not welcome.
