I was following a couple into a market today. Looked like an elderly lady accompanied by her son, perhaps in his 60's. He clearly had black nylon pouches all around his belt: knife, double mag-pouch, flashlight, etc. But, I didn't see anything obviously 'GUN'. They stopped at the entrance a bit ahead of me, and I heard the gent say he would go back to the car. The woman said she would go ahead and begin shopping.
I saw the sign as I stepped up onto the porch. Only then did it occur to me what was going on. So, I said to her, "You know what I say? Don't ask, don't tell.". She responded something like, "Well yeah, but they might wanna haul you away, you never know.". Since I was in a hurry, I didn't stop and try to explain further. It was sad to see. :|
