Studio cleaned up. What was a theatre ticket in 1969?

I never went to a theater back then.
It was always the drive in movies.
We paid $1.00 -$3.00 a car load.
My brother had a couple of flatbed trucks and we would all pile on the back and drive in that way.
Depending on how many of us there were , everyone would pitch in 10 or 15 cents each.

Alright boys .. I am going to spend 3 bucks to see a Chalie Sheen movie this weekend. I never thought I would say that! :)

What happened to the 3 dollar movie review?

So I finally got to check it out tonight and it cost me $4 !!!

I still think Charlie Sheen Sucks A$$ and nothing about the movie changed that for me but .. it was actually a pretty good movie. I am a fan of most things Madsen has done especially early so that helped.

Like a good 90's action movie there was plenty going on and except for the one love scene, it kept the pace up nicely. While I dont care for Sheen he certainly didn't diminish the movie in anyway.

Rather some of the weirder stuff did .. like the guy Dildo and why he was so anxious to be a side kick. Wish they would have explained that one a bit better because it was a bit unbelievable in a movie that had a few unbelievable moments.

While I wished I paid 1.99 instead of 3.99 both the wife and I agreed it was a good movie and didnt feel cheated. No grumbling " oh crap we paid 3.99 for that"

FOR ME .... far more entertaining than Easy Rider!

My favorite "biker" from a movie. Reminds me of someone I knew from my younger days:

I just picked up the DVD myself, hope to watch this weekend.

Easyrider? If you havent seen it you should .. It may not be the most exciting thing you ever saw but its one of those iconic American movies that everyone has to see at least once. I must have watched it 4 times.

No i've Seen Easy rider a dozen times, the Chuck Sheen movie is the one i've never seen and picked up to watch this weekend. The Soundtrack to Easy Rider was what started me into my love of music and especially Hendrix. My parents had the record when i was a kid in the early 70's. I never saw the movie till i was an adult in the 80's. I thought it was entertaining and i liked it. Not that relevant today and the acting and quality was not that great i suppose. Not to mention Peter Fonda is a douche. Looking forwrd to see what the other one is about,
