I was southbound on Squaw Peak this a/m on an insomnia run to the market. Approaching the interchange, the ramps to both eastbound 202, and westbound 10 were swarming with DPS. Car after car, all along the ramp onto the 202, perhaps over a dozen. Seemed to be ditto for the ramp to the 10, each car several car lengths behind the other.
If it were a simple crash, on up to traffic homicide, literally ONE unit could block BOTH ramps with perhaps just a couple of barricades to close the gaps. Prior to posting, a DPS dispatcher could only tell me that troopers "were working an incident", but no press releases have been given.
Anyone know a graveyard-shift Trooper willing to spill-it?
