Why is everyone so shocked? NO one in the world is immune to this NEW Chinese virus. Everyone will be exposed at some time, it's just a matter of when. The effect it has on you is more a matter of how healthy you are more than anything else. This whole pandemic is crazy and surreal.

Trump is an egotistical narcissist. I would venture to guess almost everyone who runs for that office has to be. How else would you think you are capable of running the worlds super power effectively AND make improvements to it.
Add to that he was born into, weaned on and lived his life in NYC development and construction and all the man knows how to do is fight. He likes it, he doesn't know any other way. Rolling around in the pits with pigs is a fun afternoon. Its not a slight or a vote of confidence from me .. just an acknowledgment.
My brother owns his own electrical company in NYC. I worked with him a thousand years ago and the fights him and the GC would get into replete with shouting, cursing, red faces, chest bumping and tools thrown over payments and what was Extra's ... you would swear any minute it would come to blows .. ten minutes after it was all resolved it was as if nothing ever happened and the same GC hired him on 20 other jobs.
Its just the way it was. I dont know how it is in the rest of the country but even doing installs at the Javitz I knew I would spend three days shouting and fighting and being in peoples faces. It would look to many like there might be fisticuffs and there might .... but it was all part of NYC negotiations.
Sh*t .. getting the elevator operator to move your stuff in was a fight .. and then a healthy pay off!
Its a union town so there is all the fighting and shouting and pushing that comes with that. Contracting in NYC is very much a contact sport and while I hated Trumps debate strategy I have been a part of MANY meetings that sounded just like it. He did what he has done for his whole life. Only difference was .. he wasnt going to come out with a deal. He was just going to look stupid.
He is not hiding .. he is not trying to get out of the debate and he is to much the narcissist and has spent to many years fighting and arguing to come up with some super secret clever strategy to win and avoid conflict.
He is NOT a politician. Playing stupid head games isnt in his DNA. His father was a brute and so is he. You dont make it to where he is in that environment being soft.
He is just genuinely sick with chinese flu IMHO. How his people spin it will be interesting but .. the chinese flu doesnt recognize title.
He will never admit that his debate was unsuccessful because first he would have to believe it and its a strategy that has worked for him his whole life.
These media and "personalities" that are attributing these clandestine motives to Trump's illness havent learned anything about him in 3+years. He aint fak'in. What you see is what you got.
He would sooner kiss Nancy Piglosi on the mouth than cancel or hide from the next debate (fight).
Oh and trust me .. if there is a way for him to get into an argument (debate) from his hospital bed .. he will. He likes it.

Lots of glee among his enemies, some sadness among his supporters, I'm not inclined to be happy about his illness. The irrestible urge to say I told you so must just be killing his blue friends. So a octagenarian supreme court lady dies glee among red, trump gets sick glee among blue. This is 2020 .
Everybody is talking about Trump. He never got very sick, and he is better now, and that's good and I'm happy about it.
But how is Melania? Nobody, either right or left, has said a word about her. Is she OK? At death's door? Asymptomatic? Mildly ill? I'd really like to know!

On the surface she doesnt look like a high risk for a hard go of it. She is relatively young, looks to be in great shape, maintains a healthy weight and ... with full tongue in cheek ... those chicks from the Croatia, Bosnia Hungary part of the world are made of some stern stuff!!!
She probably had some tea and a couple of asprin and wondered what the big deal was.
Trump's doctors have said he needs to stay at home in the White House and rest . . . for another four years.
