I know Ben Avery doesn't. :(

Trying to find something in the North Phoenix area where I can safely shoot steel at 300-1500Y w/o worrying about the potential for hikers, bikers, ATV's, etc between me and the berm.

I've shot 50 BMG at RIO but per their web site, range is closed to 50 BMG for now (plus, that's almost a 3 hour RT drive for me).

I have shot .50 at Cowtown. They have a range specifically for .50, with steel targets at 100 yard intervals. You shoot from an elevated platform into a valley/wash.

How recently have you shot 50 BMG there?

I have also shot .50 at Casa Grande, but the range only goes out to 300 yards.
I was lucky the day I went out; there was nobody else there.
In case there are others, as a courtesy, I would probably bring my own shooting table and set up away from others.
