What the hell is going on? This Judicial overreach is getting out of hand. Someone better dig up Andrew Jackson and tell him he has some work to do.

Supreme Court holds much of Oklahoma is Native American land.

The Supreme Court, in a 5-4 ruling on Thursday, held that nearly half of Oklahoma – home to 1.8 million residents – is Native American territory, saying any Native American resident on Native American land cannot be tried in state criminal court, and instead must be tried in federal court.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. If these people want to be a sovereign nation fine, just don't ask for any taxpayer money for anything like the navajos are because of covid 19. Get bent, fix your own problems.

Yeah. Like that will ever happen.

If they do the crime on the reservation which us federal land , then the crime becomes federal.
If they do the crime off the reservation , then it is a state crime.
It has always been that way as far as I know.

.

So does this mean all those small town city councils will now become tribal councils?
What about all the crimes non-indians have committed- are they to be retried as federal cases?
Will the hi-way patrol get new horses? Who will be the new chief of Tulsa?...
So many questions and possible changes it brings...

I remember back in the early 80's when either Apache or other tribe claimed some lands due to tribal bones being found on the land. Court battle for a few years in which the landowner lost. The people leaving burnt everything down and ruined the land before they left so the tribe would not be able to profit from the generations of work his family had done.

Not sure how accurate this report is, but it looks like 90% of Oklahoma was tribe territory to various tribes. This should be fun to watch.
