Have some tables at the show for the first time in 18 years, just trying to clean out the closet.
The only way to sell stuff was to have it severly discounted.
What amazed me the most was how many big time ammo vendors are there.
Used to be the only big one was Miwall.

But now, here we are, and gun owners feel safe for now and no panic buying. I was kind of hoping to see that effect on gun stuff in general as a consumer, but I think is still too early a bit. But by summer, we should start to see some cool prices on things. But I think there's going to be some products NOT appear at SHOT SHOW that were schedules to premier, due to that dynamic.

Just trying to sell stuff and not be tempted to buy more stuff I don't need.
As a side note, in the past I could always count on selling most of my ammo if priced fair.
I'm selling 6 cases of high quality and expensive ammo for calibers I no longer own.
Hardly anyone even looks at it.
Have only sold 2 boxes of high end ammo for half of what they retail for.

There was a longstanding dealer that used to get the tables immediately next to the show organizer's table. He was a geezer that wore diabetic socks, and had a huge selection of S&W. "Mostly Honest Paul" has passed-on to that big shooting range in the beyond.....hombre

Yes, I was there this year. At first, I was on a wait list for one table ($180 for three days). They called me just 5-days prior to the first day and I had to shuffle my "ass-ets" in gear. My table was in the back of the show on the south side along McDowell, somewhat removed from the big buildings at the entrance and the SAR building to the west.
I was selling personal stuff that i have accumulated over the last three decades. Flow was okay on Saturday. Not too busy where it was chaotic, but more controllable (conversational...). When you put a bunch of stuff on a table that is approximately 34x96 all of a sudden it seems very small. Not too many other platforms to sell stuff in mass without the shipping cost being too exuberant. I managed to liquidate some stuff but not to profit as I had purchased items at various times at higher prices. It is very hard to compete with the mega vendors that have thousands of magazines for sale at every corner of the show. Wow! is all i could say at the time. So many magazines - unbelievable.
Oh well. It was a long day and I was the last to leave my building since I was not returning Sunday.
P.S. $18 dollar Beer right out front of my building with a constant line all day...another Wow! factor.

I was in the same building.
Saturday was my slowest day by far. Did three times as much on Friday and twice as much on Sunday.
