Yeah, that bill is pretty ridiculous with all the junk they shoehorned in there. I'm actually not in favor of any relief bill, and I believe everything should be opened up so that people can work without government restriction. If you ask me, that's the "relief" the people could use.
After all the delay for a bill, I think most people didn't believe it was going to happen. Then, they come out with this piece of sh!t. They're planning on giving out just enough to piss people off. It's like the politicians are saying, "Let them eat cake!"

They want to gloss-over that crap that their precious American-hating progressive politicians are trying to stuff down the throats of the American taxpayers. All Americans need to view President Trump's eye-opening message which details some of the outrageous spending found in this 5,593 page pork-filled rape of the American taxpayer.

That might buy me part of another toy, but I certainly don't see how $600 is going to help those in need because of covid. The ones that it helps are those living off the government already. And to bring back the federal unemployment benefit just causes many NOT to work.

I like that Trump is calling out the BS and giving it a veto but no matter the amount of money it's just going to go into the pockets of Amazon and Walmart. The small businesses won't get jack crap. Not to mention this money is ours in the first place. It's like wanting to raise minimum wage, they'll get the money back one way or another.

I know it affects some more than others but ... IMHO .. fuk it. Shut it down. The more I read about the pork in the "relief package" the sicker I get and the more I wish I still had my head buried in the sand.
So ... how is funding the planning of two new NOT FOR PROFITS in the form of two new museums helping the People who will be without living accommodations once past due rent and mortgage bills come due or the myriad other issues that are affecting the AMERICAN public. Man .. dont even start looking. The pork is so high it stinks.
I dont think we have seen nothin yet. All the people making use of the deferred rent and mortgage payments will make the 2008 crash look like high times!
If a Veto has the unintended consequence of defunding the military then so be it. Let the politician A holes who worked on this bit of pork filled delight spend their Christmas vacation working to make it right.
I will say ..the last minute $2000 ploy was a brilliant move by Pelosi. Dont discount how that woman can play the angles. She has already put AOC in check and with this move it only required a law maker to disagree. GOP came out in disagreement ... how will they be remembered. Fiscally conservative or unsupportive and heartless. We will see.

Every fake news outlet is predictably attacking Trump for derailing the bullshit, attacking Republicans for being heartless for not supporting the $2,000 stimulus checks, and tying it to the Georgia Senate races.
Biden will come up with a third stimulus that will give back some more money to the people who put it there to begin with and be a shinning star.
The gov money wasn't and isn't going to change my life but if we are playing chess ... GOP should have carved out enough pork during negotiations to offer more to individuals especially with georgia still in play.
