Yeah, the article and headline are Democrat-style stretching. He said essentially that he wants to ban high-capacity magazine assault clips, whether 9mm or any other caliber. That is stupid, but it is not the same as saying that he wants to ban the 9mm caliber, or that he wants to ban handguns.

No politician is actually interested in addressing the root of the problem...gang violence. How many people have been killed in Chicago this week? And how many national headline news stories have you read about it? There were 3 "mass shootings" in Chicago YESTERDAY, and not a single headline on CNN, Fox, MSNBC, etc. All in a state with very restrictive gun laws...
