Chinese type 53 rifle value

My neighbor has a nice Chinese type 53 Nagant that he wants to sell. Has the bayonet too. If it was a regular Mosin Nagant it would be easier for me to price. Any idea of the value of it assuming 80% condition. Any interest in one of these before I decide weather to list it or not?

I'd guess the $250-300 range depending on the details of the condition, but that should give you a starting point.

Price has been quite wonky the last 7 years. I think the above would be a reasonable starting point.

The values noted are accurate but condition is super important. I've seen some really ratty 53's and some really nice ones in prime condition will bring more $$$.
