With the flood of Carcano carbines on the market I figured this would be relevant. I love mine. It's 3D printed and will work with 6.5 or 7.35 Carcano. It feeds a round perfectly into the chamber. He also makes one for the Berthier if interested. The Post office lost my first one and he sent a second one out fast. Great customer service! As for the scratches those were caused by me, I have a few carcanos and they are all snowflakes. My shooter/beater is a surrender (1943 timeframe) manufacture and has a rough fitting of the stock and trigger guard assembly.

Any of your Carcano rifles SA marked anyplace on the receiver?

I used to have a bunch of cacanos and with graffiti. Problem with shooting them is some 6.5 ammo supposedly use 6.5 swedish bullets which are too small... and the expense vs other surplus.

Your Carcano is actually one used by Finland of all places. Turns out Germany supplied a bunch to Finland as military aid in 1940 when Russia invaded. SA marked carcano rifles were part of the Finland's military. Finland sold these off way back in the 1950's so all of them are non import marked. The SA marked Carcano riles are not war trophies or bring backs just early imports. SA marked Carcano's are considered more desirable from a collector standpoint.

When I was 7 years old in the early 1970's I noticed this Carcano in my dad's closet, he said I could have it and keep it in my room. I still have it, only item not stolen from parents storage unit in the 80's this rifle turns out is almost my oldest possession now.

Rifle was purchased "new" in 1959 in the basement of Marshall Fields and Company in downtown Chicago for $7.00 my dad said that his father bought it for him as a joke.
