Car Stereo Installers - Need Help

So I got a new stereo for my 08 Tacoma and I bought the wiring harness adapter for it…everything was pretty basic on the stereo side, but the wire color doesn’t match on the adapter side the OEM wires…can’t seem to find anything online that talks about this issue and I’ve confirmed with the harness company that’s it’s correct. Also the plugs are different sizes so it’s not mixed up….any thoughts?

Color of the wires should not matter as long as they go to where they should.
Such as 12volts should to to 12volts, ground, switched power, etc etc.
Colors have nothing to do with it if I am understanding your question correctly.

The aftermarket adaptors typically will not match OEM wiring colors, just make sure you wired it up as per the chart in the instructions and you should be good to go
