I know this is sacrilege but I have never cared for the 1911 style guns. I own a couple but have never really warmed up to them. It is a damn fine looking pistol. Then again, for that price it should be!

I have to second many of the other posters, get the STI (or whatever they are calling themselves now) or some other manufacturer and get a double stack. My STI doublestack 9mm amazingly felt almost the same in my hand as a .45 1911 single stack.

I have the receiver set for a 9mm AR build that I'm planning on starting soon, will be ordering a suppressor, but so far I'm undecided on SBR vs. pistol build...
