The simple answer is yes, at least temporarily; and as always, the answer can depend on the state where you live.

“In most cases, if a business owner wants you to leave and you refuse, and the police get involved, you would likely end up being charged with some level of trespassing,” said Walker & Taylor attorney Emily Taylor. “There are varying levels of trespassing and different states will categorize them differently, but you’d likely be looking at a misdemeanor charge.

“If the trespassing leads to an actual criminal charge, then your carry license could be suspended at least until the matter is resolved in court. If you get convicted on a criminal trespassing charge in court, then you’d likely lose your license outright.”

I hate wearing a mask, and with current medical training I don’t believe they have any affect on transmitting this virus, but a private business owner has a right to set conditions inside their premises. I wear the mask but inside I laugh at their fear.

In AZ, what they could charge you with and possibly (?) convict you of would not make you a prohibited possessor. How do you spell LAWYER...

worst case a misdemeanor trespass charge, and only that if you were dumb enough to get into a pissing contest with a business owner and refuse to leave.

I don’t believe you could lose your gun rights for refusing to wear a mask but it all depends on the state you are residing in and the charges a prosecutor would attempt lodge against you for refusing to wear a mask. I know in Tucson they make it a civil offense with a $50 fine (this is before all other fees are added to the fine) for not wearing a mask when required by the City of Tucson.
