JRH has what I want in stock. I’m leaning towards them. Or buying a lot of ammo.

He pushes people to Photonis tubes. We call them poortonis because they are not that good. I have compared Elbit, L3 and Photonis side by side and own Elbit and L3 tubed gear.

Actually he talked me into Elbit tubes and never brought up Photonis.

Nothing wrong with Photonis tubes. They are perfect for the causal or new user.

NVGdude on here is in the business of building these things. While he may not have any on hand to let you sample, he can talk intelligently about them. But I haven't seen him on here in quite some time. Perhaps if he is monitoring he might have something to say?

What part of town are you in? We have a bunch of buddies that go out on night hikes and shoots.

Photonis isn’t terrible but there’s definitely a dramatic difference in all lighting differences.

I have elbit gen 3 WP and highly recommend them for the money. I have compared them to my buddies L3 filmless and I’d say they are 5% better but are also $3k more.
