The California legislature just passed legislation to give everyone a basic amount of income. Since there is no means testing, it will include the millionaires as well as the homeless.
I'm sure they forgot to exclude people in prison so the guys serving 20 years will build up a nice bankroll for when they are released.
Of course their governor supports it 100%.
