Had an interesting conversation with a buddy. He’s not in real estate but he firmly believes there will be another influx of CA money picking up AZ properties.

I’d love to sell my place for way more than it’s worth. I wonder if me being a renter throws a wrench on my plans? Hahahhahahha

Was at dept of Education meeting yesterday. Informal note went out to all schools to expect a higher level of enrollment within the next 2 weeks throughout the fall due to the number of new families that are going to move to AZ

House across the street from me burned down over 2-1/2 years ago. They just started the reconstruction about a month ago.

No one will see money in "a few weeks".

That is probably due more to the Kafkaesque building permit process most cities have enacted than a slow insurance payout.

It took them nearly a year to tear down what was left of the burnt structure.

You guys are right. I just now recalled the Carl's Jr at Bell and Cave Creek that roasted over a couple of years ago. I think they have just now completed the reconstruction. However, I don't know if it's opened yet. That's a big fast-food company.

Yep, they've been open a couple of weeks now.
