Has any C2 members tried to reserve a lane recently?
For one thing, this new website to reserve is just, well, bad. I liked the old one- it was easy and user friendly.
And there seems to be 0 open lanes for members other than 338 membership. I tried to get on a lane and I'm being told it's a $10 rental fee as a member. WTF is going on there?

No, not letting you book at all if you're a member.
Just spent 30 min on hold and finally got through. Apparently the new system isn't allowing members to book, so you have to call and they'll manually book it for you.
Was told this would be the case for the next week or so.

That sounds like Web development issues. Happens when one introduces new things.

PS: I have used the old web in the past and it worked. Have not tried via the new one.

I wasn't able to figure it out a couple of days ago, so hopefully I can sort it out soon. I had a reservation for this afternoon, but when they switched to the new system, it dropped my spot. They still worked me in, but it's a little frustrating.

The one thing I am happy about is that they don't make you sign a waiver every time.

The waiver part is a winner for sure.

I was able to get a lane for Tues AM no problem but it made me do the waiver again. That was Fri last week. There were some empty lanes but the check in was slow because of nonmembers.

I think they implemented their new reservation system since you made that last appointment on Friday. I've been in Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday this week, and they've been pretty slammed every time I'm there. I have been getting there about 15 minutes ahead of time for the past week, and I think that's helping with shorter lines. Usually, they already have a lane set aside for me and I get to start shooting early.

I've spoken to a Manager there and yes, there are problems with the software. They should've tested the code more before going live with it but it's too late now.

A big problem is the social distancing thing. Tempe has 23 lanes, but because of distancing can only use 11 at a time. Couple that with the usual regulars and all the new people who just bought a gun and want to try it out and you get long lines and a wait.

It'll smooth out soon.

I'm sure it will, it's just been a PITA last 2 weeks or so. All lanes were scheduled out for over week, except there were plenty of rental lanes available last week. So I had to talk to the manager who apologized and said that the system was not differentiating between pay for lanes and member lanes.
It's just been a bit of a setback as I've got a Gunsite course next week so I've been trying to go to knock the dust off the Mk18.
