C&R License

Ok, I've read most of the web sights on how to get your C&R license.

BUT--I'm still confused. One of the forms is 8 pages long, another is two.
One says this and one says that.

Bottom line, if you are a C&R license holder, EXACTLY what do I need to fill out and do I really have to send a copy of the application to the Sheriff?

If you mean 03FFL then read through the pages as instructed
Some ONLY apply to an 03FFL other apply to other types as in 01FFL, 07FFL etc

Yes you must make contact with the local sherriff's dept and that is why the ATF states it in the paperwork

Read ALL and do all

I filled out the 8 page form, but maybe it was only 4 pages of filling out, rest was gobbledegook.
I notified nobody else, and got a C&R license in about 8 weeks.
One transfer pays for itself with the $30 they charge

When they send you the license, do they send you a log book and instructions, etc?
