Thinking of buying a home security/alarm system? Beware the cheap and affordable ones that use WiFi to connect the window and door sensors to the system. Savvy home burglary gangs have figured out that using a WiFi jammer disables these systems, allowing them to kick in a door or break a window without the system alerting. Go back to the older and more reliable hard-wired systems. Vintage is gold, baby!

This trend is currently occurring mostly in high-end communities with multi-million dollar homes, for obvious reasons. But as the technological know how gets shared among the criminal community, the lesser gangs and crews will spread out to more middle class areas.
