That's what I'm saying! Why would she want to come back to such a horrible place? In fact, I think LeBron James should show his solidarity by going to Russia to be with her.
I am a reasonable man, willing to compromise. How about a negotiated settlement in which Griner (and her wife) and LeBron James all renounce their American citizenship and move to -- China. Win all around!

Hell, I'd bet if you attended any WNBA game at any point during her career, a majority of the people in the arena wouldn't know who she is...but that's mainly because most of the people who are watching a WNBA game in person were somehow tricked into attending...they aren't there intentionally.
Now, if an athlete from a sport that actually matters gets arrested in a foreign country, by all means get them back.

I'm not a fan, I pay no attention to professional sports, unless it's making me money somehow. Putting up wifi and cameras in the arena makes me money. :mrgreen:
