It’s been a shit show for decades, lack of support from the politicians, constantly changing rules of engagement, sniped at from both parties, used as pawns, and turned into Walmart greeters rather than letting us do our freakin job.
The agents I talk to are fed up, they’ve been castrated by every administration including Bush with the exception of Trump.
There is no loyalty to them from any administration, basically pawns in the fight to secure the border vs open border politics, and it all changes to the whims of a few.
Even our own higher ups are liberal turds that would rather kiss an illegals ass than let us deport them.
I retired in 2007 out of ICE as I had my time in and was done with the BS.
I saw the writing on the wall when it looked like Obama was going to win and bailed as fast as I could.
It’s been a long time coming.
