Went for the first time Saturday as a spectator, the night shoot was fantasticView attachment 4View attachment 5 had a great time! Anybody else go?

Nope, Wikieup is just about a 700 mile round trip for me. It is nice to see the pics of such gatherings, wish there would be more, and more dispersed around the state.

Yeah there was a few unscheduled cease fire calls because of hillside fires!

The issue was the river was running to heavy. Less water in the Fall.

It’s family friendly, just make sure everyone has hearing protection

However there is lots of walking for spectators. I your children are under 5, either be prepared with a stroller (with Large Over SIzed off road wheels) or you will be carrying them. Also bring light (weight) lawn chairs to sit. You need to remember that its still in the desert (Big Sandy Rocks are not friendly to anybody), they do sell water+soft drinks+food. The 4h club that supplies all this may or may not take credit cards. If I used them I would always paid in cash. Also Sun protection is defenitly needed.

it's been a few years since I've been there. Definitely worth going to. Here's a lot of nice eye candy to see and a nice light show at night. It's loud so hearing protection is a must.
