I started out with a Remington 512 ScoreMaster 5-shot bolt-action. A year later, for my 8th birthday, Dad got me an AR7 survival rifle. It looked right out of Star Wars at the time (1976). But I have to be honest and admit, I wasn't quite ready for it. I think that rifle is responsible for turning me into the firepower freak I am today. When Ramline came out with 25 round mags for it, I was a terror, and was trying to figure out a way to alter it into a full-auto.
