well now, yesterday did a drive around and figuring out how to get city dwellers in, may have to take a wheel barrow and fill in a few spots on this one area, but if i can get 2 wheel drive truck and a 6x10 cargo trailer in, a decent car oughta make it.

paved right up to the exit part, then its an exciting qtr mile to the ""SPOT""

gonna see if i can conjer up a sucker to help me fill a hole or two and make it easier to get thru, spots within a decent range of the city are getting tougher to find. here hoping
rj

What's the general vicinity of said spot?

I like 4wd spots. limits the use from the masses. Obviously this scenario is a little different for the indented event

I have a hard time with filling in the terrain to make it easier for less capable vehicles. As a avid offroader rock stacking is a cardinal sin, I know its just dirt but still same concept of modifying the road to make it easier to pass.

its not a 4wheel drive road or trail, it is a path to the corral which was washed out at last rain, and yeah i get the stacking part, been a rock crawler since before it was cool thing to do.

since the lessor of the land does not use corral any longer, they don't maintain the crossing, so...................

Get everyone to chip in for a mini ex and it'll only take a little while to get it smooth.

Have a great, gun carryin', Kenpo day

not a big deal a half dozen wheel barrow loads will assist in a car making the crossing, trucks do it easy, i'm a gonna take trailer up early one morning this weekend and make sure it makes it thru it before the fill if needed.

yeehaw, weather might cooperate and by first of oct might have a eat and shoot.

okay, well the location isn't working, most normal cars could not access, so......until a decent spot is located or arranged, gonna have a bbq here at the plantation, it is in central north phoenix, most of you have been here, so probably first of december, since its been so long since everyone has gotten together, see what i can do

and work on a shoot and cook at that time or just go shooting and meet up at a vendor of some sort for vittles

That's a bummer. What about if the cars parked by the road and we gave rides back to the shooting spot?

That would b an all day event in itself.
Definitely a non-starter.

Got it. I didn't know how far off the road that place was.

it can be seen from the road, but access is rough on a car, some can make it, just wouldn't want anyone to damage their daily driver for work ect.
working on locating a decent place, just haven't had that much time to get out and do the recon, soon,

i sure do miss the eat and shoots, had some much fun, looking forward to some time
