Despite having a friend in Tempe that's into HAM, I've never really dipped into the pool of radios beyond an in-car CB about two decades ago. However, I did find this video to be interesting, perhaps some of you might too. Cool to see how tech has advanced over the years, and what sort of options are out there these days.
