It is best to deal with a group of people you can learn about and who prove or disprove their integrity. That happens on a board like this and it has a classified. I did almost all my deals on the old azshooting rather than deal with total strangers on backpage. You kind of get to know the people on the boards and it makes trading and selling more comfortable.

Truth is though .. its a pretty limited audience and things can sit and it does have a limited availability of stuff you may want. If you want to explore some broader potentially less savory sources you can check out

One of the things I did like about backpage ... probably the only thing ... was the kitchen table dealer ads. I don't usually buy used and the small dealers sometimes had great buys. Got my gen5 19 for $550 OTD from one and now I see guys with used ones looking for more.

In all seriousness, you are not going to find a more upstanding group of core guys that hang out here, and are willing to help and sell guns with a sense honesty and trust.

I used the old azshooting site a lot and both bought and sold a lot of cool stuff. It just had a limited audience and usually took more time to sell. On backpage, stuff would sell the first day, usually to the first guy to respond. I did get jerked around by some idiot about a Polytech Legend once. I got the feeling it was high school kids, but I don’t know.
Hopefully this new site takes off like the old one.

I hope the new backpage has lot's of success. I miss the old one. Hopefully the new site can do something about the key word ads.
