Someone is planting steel spikes in trails in the Catalina Mountains.
They were found in the Edwin Road and Charouleau Gap Trail area.
If anyone is going off roading , horse riding or hiking be careful.
I would sure like to catch whoever is doing this.

Again? Seems to happen every couple years. Some of those things would put a hurt on anyone or anything that stepped on one.

Just another one of those "peaceful wilderness lovers" trying to prevent those nasty ATV's on the trails. I put them right up there with the so-called "bowhunters" and "guides" who pour bleach into waterholes right before the early season to force elk to go somewhere else.

I have never heard of that.
I would hate to think of what I might do if I caught someone pouring bleach into a water hole.

It was pretty common back in the late 80's/early 90's. There were a couple of tanks in 6A North that you actually smell the clorox when downwind.
