ON THE BORDER
73 year old rancher tired of migrants on his property.

Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Department Chief Deputy Gerardo Castillo

This as$shole is the one who was going to arrest anyone that aided in the container barrier proposed along the border in his county.

He is an open borders POS that will bury this guy with no remorse. He is too politically motivated to hold his position, IMHO.

+1 for not guilty vote But wait, from the above-mentioned story:

Rancher, 73, is charged with murder on his Arizona land after shooting dead Mexican, 48, who had history of illegal crossings into US and multiple deportations: Judge refuses to reduce $1M bail despite plea his wife is alone

How can you be charged with murder for "shooting a dead Mexican"?

I don't know the facts.
Maybe the Mexican attacked him with a hatchet and the rancher was in fear for his life.
Maybe the rancher said "Get out of here!" and the Mexican turned and was running back toward the border, but the rancher shot him 8 times in the back, and 3 times in the head after he was down.
I just don't know. Will wait to see what the evidence shows. Witnesses? Surveillance cam? Forensics? Rancher's statements to the investigators?
If it was the former, then it's a terrible injustice, and the prosecutor needs to be tarred and feathered. If it was the latter, then the prosecution is justified.

News articles say 1 shot on the decedent. Anonymous witness said he saw the guy grab his chest exclaim he was hit and then collapse. No mention of being shot in the back or executed, also stated he saw a man with white hair holding something. Stated 12 or so shots fired however that doesn't match the amount of recovered casings. Shooter states he fired warning shots in their general direction and that it's not possible he hit any of them. I think between the shooter's statement, a public pretender, and his fictional writing he's probably going down.

From the write up, pretty sure they could get hundreds of witnesses if they wanted too:

Larkin told the courtroom Wednesday that there's a "very large incentive structure for people to come forward and to have claimed to have been witnesses," noting the expectation of immigration benefits, as well as "pressure from traffickers who have an interest in blaming this event on Mr. Kelly."
