I have never seen so little hustle or excitement. Everyone acted like that whole thing was no big deal.

It’s actually very common. I can’t tell you how frustrating it can be to try and herd these people to safety.

During critical incidents, so many people want to be lookie-loos or even get involved to try and “calm” the situation. It’s maddening. A lot of others will just stand in the danger area trying to figure out what is going on.

Looked to me like a "typical" response - and to their credit - they moved folks away without panic - and some folks moving slowly when they were staying behind escorting people who had to move slowly (the lady on the walker).

The fact that the guy attacked VBS (for those not familiar - Vacation Bible School are summer camp type things done by churches for kids) tells you just how sick this guy was.
