Armslist Commits Suicide

I used both Guns Arizona and Backpageguns. Guns Arizona was OK, but I deleted the backpageguns because their contact method didn’t work and I had to put up my phone number for people to reach me. Of course I got all the time wasters crap that goes along with that.

I have now done a couple of small deals here and worked out fine. Maybe if more people head over it will grow in offerings.

I've used gunsarizona.com also and it's not a bad sight at all.

Agreed. I gave it a shot after no bites here or other local sites. Sold everything in a day.

I swear Armslist is in league with the scammers (or at the least willfully profiting from them).

I have been on top of a scammer that first did listings asking for deposits by electronic funds. Reported repeatedly, and would then pop up with same photos again, not only in Phoenix, but listing in multiple cities across the US.

Armslist let’s the individual(s) register new accounts (for a fee obviously), using the same contact information, same ad text, etc. The ads are only pulled down after continuous reporting of all of this.

If you see any ads that have Glocks listed for pre-COVID prices (or lower), chances are it’s a scam.

Armslist is full of scammers and felons. I really miss Backpage

Unless its one of those selective memory things like when you think fondly about that ex girlfriend that set your cloths on fire ...

Backpage was riff with scammers and near do wells.

They just didnt charge you to use the site. As with anything in life .. buyer beware. The scam ads are pretty obvious. I especially like the ones that say ... Glock 19 gen 3 and then have a pic of a Ruger GP100!!

I liked armslist but aint missing it.

I only had one bad experience on backpage out of many transactions. I'm totally surprised when a deal on Armslist actually goes through or when an ad is legit. I wasn't one of those that talked crap about backpage....I loved it.

Before they started charging there were typically 5600-5800 private party buy-sell-trade ads listed for Phoenix. At the moment there's a little over 2500. that's a pretty big drop but maybe not fatal based on the number of paying customers.

Really hard to say. How many non paying customers just replying to ads that have a email or phone number listed. I wish they would do like Azguns, pay a buck to run a ad for thirty days.
