Hmmmm.. why did they run? what is considered a stand off? If 11 armed dudes are a threat because they were armed .. I am happy we were never pulled over when there was a caravan of folk from the old AZ shooting headed out to a group shoot!!! :shock:

woulda sucked and there were a bunch more than 11 of us.

The same "laws" that have interrupted these guys camping trip are the same laws we will all live under if we do not continue to do all we can to remain vigilant in our attempts to protect the second amendment.
I'm not fully clear on the platform of this particular group called Rise of the Moors, but in my narrow view at this point they are being punished for simply exercising their 2A rights.

What charges? What crime did they commit? Armed while black? Refueling on the side of the road? Having crackpot political/religious beliefs? Asking for an articulation of probable cause? Failure to Respect Mah Authoriteh in the first degree?

This store was barely mentioned on only TWO of the networks I could find before posting,
ABC and CNN.

NOTHING was verbalized about their RACE. NOTHING was printed about the group.
You can only connect the dots by watching the video feed, in which their name was
eventually mentioned, Moors. (Historically, the African (black) Muslims who invaded the Iberian
peninsula in centuries past. ) You see but a couple of brief snippets of members getting the bracelets, and you can ALMOST see their race. But, only the posted statement by one of their A-A members makes it clear...

You know darn well that if this group were anything BUT black folks, the buzzline would be all about
"ARMED WHITE NATIONALISTS/Supremecists" and it would be both banner and chiron leaders through much of the afternoon today. :evil:

Sure White people are treated unfairly in the Media... No doubt about it and no hitch in my voice when I say it.

However

Come on guys .. I said it before. Dont get caught up in the propaganda war. Dont let them divide every damn thing. Its there intention. I hadn't even considered the race card when I read the story .. I just thought about gun rights, Government over reach and there local militia .. the Police who carry out their bidding.

As a gun guy, as a freedom lover and what I consider to be a patriot .. I was dismayed that 11 guys with a hodge podge of weapons going out to play army man in the woods had to endure a stand off which probably made them Sh*t their pants. I dont care if they want to play at being moors. Whatever.

I would bet the great majority of people on this board have been to at least one group shoot and 11 people barely qualifies.

I know it sucks if you are on the receiving end but "white people" are only being used as the propaganda face of conservatives. Its the same as when the United states used these

Japanese people dont really look like that. They needed a face of the enemy.

Conservatives are a very broad cross section of people whether the libs want to admit it or not but you need an enemy, a depiction of a single entity that represents conservatives and conservative values so we get red necky, white, middle America, uneducated and clinging to their guns and the bible.

Funny whenever I see the proud boys show up at a rally and Daily mail is great about an abundance of quality photos .. there are a whole boat load of people that dont fit that description. Candice owens doesn't fit the description, Kari lake doesnt fit that description hell .. I dont fit that description, most of the Cubans in Florida dont fit that description and I have met a bunch of you and you dont fit that description.

On a gun forum .. I kind of expect outrage that the police and local government are harassing and terrorizing PEOPLE exercising a constitutional right to own firearms and a god given right to defend ones self. Dont get caught up in the false divides the libs want to set up. Its divide and conquer.. Gun owners and conservatives regardless of color religion or ??? are your brothers in arms. We all need to stick together.

Oh well .. rant over ... just kind of worries me. While we are worried about non differences they are ruining the country

This story should not be about black or white. This is cops harassing fellow gun owners. Sounds like the gun owners probably have some crackpot ideas. So did the Branch Davidians. People have the right to have crackpot ideas, just as they have the rights to own guns and carry guns.
