Sounds like a brand new show? Does anybody know where this big tin cotton gin building is located? Might be one to check out.
Thanks,
BB

Here's where it's located.

I looked at the street view on google maps, and the building doesn't look very big. I wonder if they're going to set up tents outside. It's a long way for me to drive, so I don't know if I'm going to make it out. Especially since it doesn't look like it's going to be very big.

I have been to one of their shows in March. $10 entrance fee. Yes they also set up outside next to the building. No parking fee. Nice to walk around and see what for sale. I will go this week coming up.

O.K. so I went to the gun show. Entrance fee $6.00 not bad. Free parking. Some venders charge 3% for credit card purchase. Over priced on AR 15 style long guns. Example, Diamondback 5.56 full M-Lock rail I paid $529.00 They are selling same AR for $650.00 REALLY!. Very small menu. It great to look and kill some time. Some have good stuff. Some tables not set up, maybe tomorrow. Oh some charge tax some don't.

I went last year. Good thing is you will see a small smattering of folks and things you haven't seen in Phoenix. Bad thing is you will see a SMALL SMATTERING of folks and things you haven't seen in Phoenix. Similar to the Shriner's hall venue on 40th St.

Now, it is literally right next door to a very decent BBQ shack, and a barber. So, if you work it right, you can get a lot accomplished in one stop.

Managed to get a decent deal on 500 .38 wadcutters, 300 75gr HP .243 projos, a Sinclair micometer trimmer for $90 & a British wooden ammunition can for $10

And good BBQ was had.
I already took care of the haircut Friday

I went to this. It was small and I guess they had to spread things out because of the Covid thing. It was fun but I didnt find any great deals. I was looking for an AR but not at the prices they wanted. The prices are up everywhere now. You probably are not going to find one for $525 for a while. It was worth it but I live locally. Not sure it would have been if I drove across the valley for it.

emjoy them all while you can, me thinks in the next few years they may go the way of the dinosaurs

have watched them in about 4 decades go from humongous to what you get these days. lotsa the old boys no longer show up or are taking the dirt nap, doesn't seem to be a younger gen picking up the pitard
