Looking for a place to test posting photos and figured why not a couple of Arisaka bayonets.

Really no big deal , just a test. Heck I don't even have a rifle to hang them on.

My Jap milsurp is limited, but some guys I’ve known have had quite the collection. I believe Arisaka bayonets are like the Mauser produced family groups. Quite a few are the same, but there are variations.

Type 30 bayonets. They will attach to both Type 99 & 38 rifles and carbines. If you can post the arsenal markings and serials, I can tell you what you have. New to the forum hence the late post.

From the sheet I have on various rifle markings, I came up with the following...
The top one with the symbol that looks like an 8 inside a circle would be Nagoya Arsenal and the one below with the circle and 3 lines coming out like a propeller would be Hoten (Mukden) Arsenal.
The small stamp at the bottom on the end could be the letter G (HO) but I'm not positive on that.

The top bayonet is an early Toyada Automatic Loom Works (TALW) and is a common variation. The bottom, Harrier is correct... looks to be a Hoten Arsenal (Mukden) 51st series with proper inspection marks. The Hoten isn't rare but definitely not a common find. Great pair!
