If someone made a 1911 the size of my Sig P365 that holds 12 rounds of 9mm in a gun 1" wide or less, I'd certainly consider it. But such a 1911 doesn't exist. In my opinion, the smallest Officer sized 1911 is a poor choice for a daily concealed carry pistol. Can it work? Of course...but it isn't the best tool for the job.
The Smith & Wesson CSX's I have sold really fall into this category. I am cheap. I bought an AR a few weeks back and was so nervous. $600 on a Black Rain Spec 15 new, out the door. The CSX is a bit too rich for me. If I can get the right deal, like I did on the BRO, I would get one though. Very 1911'esque. 12 rounds with 1 mag, 10 with the other. All metal, has an actual hammer. Ambi safety and slide release. I like the trigger a bunch.
