AR Pistol question

I just wanted opinions on what other people thought were quality out of the 100's of AR makers these days.
The only contribution you added was " pay as little as possible " and now you say pay $1k for one.
So apparently according to your vast knowledge are you saying that the ones you pay the least for are as good as the ones you pay $1K for ? 
Only two people in three pages of this thread actually gave a recommendation.

Exactly...they are just an AR and most price increases are simply based on the cachet of the name stamped on them. And if irrc there are still only like three places that make all the forgings no matter whose name they stamp on the side.

I gave you the info on a good value for the money set up from PSA. However you seemed to take offense at being told to buy cheap and not wanting to be bothered installing a FCG, screwing on a buffer tube and snapping two take-down pins in place. So after your "I own Colts and know ARs" rant I gave you a price to look for that would put you in the same price range to help you feel more comfortable.

The bottom line is that aside from the ones with poly lowers, there really aren't any to avoid.

I built 5 FAL's before you can spell the designers name !!! and I timed the barrels with special cleaning rods and headspaced them with pin gages too!
The AK's took extra time to drive up to a buddys house who has a press and welder.

Did I tell ya about the time I made parkerizing solution from D batteries and parkerized the AK's on a BBQ using an old ammo can?
