Well..... i'm back in this sh-thole right now and have been the last couple weeks. This place is ACTUALLY a coney island on the northwest side of detroit. Been in this place dozens of times and a few times in the last couple weeks as well. Awesome real deal fried fish and chicken if you enjoy it.

I wouldn't call this place deep or dark ...just detroit. This place is like Beverly hills compared to the places I grew up in my first 25 years. This place is off of dexter and I walk this area regularly. For an AZ resident this might seem a bit ghetto but in comparing its not really any different than walking around the old dog track area off van buren back in the day with the swap meet.

I lived from chicago to east pittsburg and from flint down to Cincinnati in the most depressed areas..... that area is just basic detroit. This sh*t happens every day and all day here, chicago, toledo, flint, etc. I've seen it first hand several times since I was in middle school. Same ol same ol.

I grew up in East N.Y. Brooklyn during the 60's and 70's as the murder rate climbed to 2000 a year. Some things you don't unsee. Still remember the very first murder victim I saw. Must have been about 5 yrs old. I can still picture the scene clear as day.

Won't find a stronger 2A supporter than someone who had to actually live in the jungle.
