Andrea Ocasio-Cortez did it again. Responding to a perceived slight by Trump when he described her as a 29 year old bartender, the slight was about age and experience not occupation, she began to explain why being a working class individual is tough and how her bartending job helps her empathize with poor people. Never mind she didnt grow up poor and the bartending job wasnt exactly forced upon her to make ends meet, but that's a different story.
No it's this comment that, while she didnt intend it to destroy Obama care or even want to hurt a socialist utopian cornerstone, simply did both.
She clearly and concisely summed up the Obama care lie. The truth is that even with Obama care people are essentially uninsured because you never reach the level where insurance actually kicks in. That and the cost are what makes Obama care the proverbial "500 dollar hammer". Both are stupid wasteful and almost treasonous in their expense.
You could easily make the argument that those responsible for 500 dollar hammer procurement and the creation of Obama care committed a crime by conspiring to disregard their fiduciary responsibility to the people. At least the hammer was useful, Obama care isnt. Infact the damage to Americans income and financial stability goes beyond the cost. I'll bet 500 dollar hammers will actually be useful enough in their longevity so that they aren't a total loss. Obama care will never be that.
If interested the whole story is here.

He’s never had to actually see the rising premiums month to month, and you have a $6,000 deductible for a $2,000 health insurance plan," she said, according to the paper
