Hi All,
I'm looking to get into some .22lr invasive species hunting, specifically European Starling, but up for almost anything. Anyone doing this?
Not much info other than diary farm and vineyard hunts. AZGFD says no bag limit and year-round season on these, so I figured it would be a fun way to get out while also helping out the native species. Really enjoying this forum so far, TIA.

Eurasian Ringneck doves are a big problem down south of the 202 by my house, but the in-town dairies are a dying breed, the one that allowed us to hunt it has closed. There building 400 homes on it, the other on Val Vista and Chandler heights is still there but they wont allow hunting. If they did it would only be shotguns, don't think can hunt anywhere in town with a .22.

Some Dairy Farmers welcome folks to come and eradicate nuisance birds, just make sure you check with them.

I used to go to a dairy farm outside of Casa Grande and decimate them with one of my PCP rifles.
The rancher had no problem with it as long as I was careful, and I could shoot all day, I have a portable compressor to refill so I’d pack a lunch and get in a full 8 hours.
