Maybe I’m nuts, I’m not a well-heeled revo guy but I’ve been around a few in my day. I’m just sayin, these old Tauri smith19 copies are, IMHO, so much better than the newer designs.

I am not familiar with current versions, but I owned several J and K frames in the past, and they really were nice revolvers, every bit as good as S&Ws. Sold one to a friend 25 years ago (SS, bobbed hammer), and she still carries it in her purse, and practices with it once a month at SGC.
 
The 70's era Taurus revolvers had a bad rep, but they got better by the early 80's. I've owned several and shot the piss out of em', but they never gave me a problem.
