I bought a box of five Dragon's Breath rounds at a gun show years ago. Waited until a rainy day, then went out to a muddy gravel pit and set up a paper target at about 25 yards. The flame set the target on fire, then the magnesium hit the backstop and shattered into three pieces, all of which went over the backstop into the desert, setting three bushes on fire. Because it had been raining, we were able to stomp out the fires, but lesson learned: magnesium is serious stuff. Be really careful where you use it, and be aware that the magnesium keeps burning for a long time after the shot is fired.

I still have four rounds left, in case an occasion arises in which the problem is actually worse than the side effects. A general riot would be one example.

This is what happens when you raise an entire generation essentially blanketed in bubble wrap and not allowed to skin their knees. They go through life not knowing that there are consequences for the actions one takes. Eventually, life kicks them in the ass and they discover that- No, Virginia, mommy and daddy won't be there to take care of you all your life. And being a hardass face-to-face with someone will end many times differently than when you're crap-talking on a keyboard.
I'm really worried that some of these kids will end up dead. I feel for their parents. Parents that thought they were shielding them by coddling them all the time. Soon these mooks will tire of the city and move this crap to the burbs. They will get a physics lesson on what a 6k lb Explorer will do to a 124lb vegan body. Or what 124gr JHPs traveling at 1,252 fps will do to that $300 distressed vintage t-shirt and what's wearing it. I'm not sure how many it will take for word to get out that these shenanigans have become tiresome- but it won't be just one casualty.

That dude had plenty of chances to comply. The moment he reached into his vehicle where officers no longer had sight of his hands or what his hands were reaching for they fired. I can't fault the officers here. As pointed out in the video from Crowder and heard on the original source audio it seems many others were advising him to comply, because they knew the danger he was putting himself in.
