But I will bite, what is a high capacity magazine? I would argue higher than 10 rounds, for the sake of CA compliance, or standard mags.If extended higher than was designed for magazine, is as impractical because no one that takes concealed carry seriously would be carrying one on them in the gun itself. In this instance, I would argue that my G19 holds 15+1 stock, same with my M9, as well as our new duty weapons And if you're talking about it as a truck or car gun, you would not have a chance to grab it like that feller in the truck that was yanked out.On this, I am likely to agree with you. That poor fella was trying to escape, and his focus was there. He was f#cked no matter what he did.

Shotgun speaks louder than words. Avoid yes, block my path to my home-well lets say it's not gonna end well for them. R.I.P.

Now this comes out. The guy was just trying to protect a transgender robbery victim from the mob. The azzhole that kicked him in the head has been identified. He should be charged with attempted murder.

I remember the day he caught a towel on fire with one of his shorty Saigas... still laugh about it.

From the Archives .. this was at one of the AZS Casa grande shoots. I shot that same gun .. I am very comfortable with full size shotguns, First gun I ever bought was an 870 and I still have it 35 years later.

Everyone was passing around guns to try and Daniel asked me if I wanted to give that bad boy a whirl after seeing me rattle off some rounds with my 870

.. Seeing how he was shooting it one handed ... I didnt give it proper respect and very very very nearly tattooed my forehead!!!

I mean way close enough I was cross eyed .. it provided no end of amusement for Glockmonger!

Oh back to the bitching thread ... even that little guy would be tough to move around if your behind the steering wheel. I am a pretty thin guy but I met some of you with a substantial mid section.

Rolling around behind a steering wheel and potentially in a seat belt .... I would rather have a handgun in that situation and wouldnt mind an extra mag but usually when you let the first few go the rats scatter then its just about getting out of dodge before they regroup.

But .. no doubt the boom and flash from that shorty shotgun would make for some brown antifa panties

If only they could see that they were being ignored, and I never click and have the notifications turned off so trolls cannot even bait their targeted person.

The only opinions based on my first hand experience that matters here is my own, not from space shuttle door gunners and walter mitty's bloviating from the hip.

Stay in your lanes and I will stay in mine. I never suggested or told anyone what to do or what not bring or to bring, have the common decency to give that same respect back. Besides, if I actually wanted advice, I would actually ask for it. I never did. Yet I'm the guy with the attitude, LMAO (projection oh projection).

There are better things to worry about then some person that lives rent free inside of your heads and what they think or mentioning what tool to have nearby. Be better then that

It probably isn't my place to say , but if he is on your ignore list why don't you ignore him , instead of copying and posting what he said ?
Just curious that's all.

...A long time ago I was forced to carry an A2 in the vehicle.

[UNSET].jpg

I had a substantially smaller waist ten years ago. A full size rifle is not easy to wield from the vehicle. A few of the people I was with were fortunate enough to get something with like a 10.5 inch barrel m4 and even that was a pain in the ass to maneuver in a vehicle. Not all the vehicles were heavily armored or full of comms gear. Some of the NATO vehicles were basically lightly armored SUVs or Trucks. From my experience if we ever got caught up in the middle of Kabul it would probably be game over. That car was gonna be our coffin and the best thing we could do is place our hands on our rifles so they could say we died with weapon in hand as we attempted to step out to engage. That's assuming we didn't just get blown up to begin with. While I was there a 90 pound fertilizer VBIED took out men way harder than me. Way faster than me. Way better trained than me. Rifles are to engage targets at distance. Pistols, some SBR's, and subguns would be what I would want if I absolutely had to engage from within a vehicle or at close quarters. Ideally I'd want to drive my vehicle out of there or abandon what is essentially a death trap. I'll concede that the current brand of people that are out there acosting, assaulting, threating, and in some instances killing people (sometimes children) may not be trained or as willing to die as some of the people I may have come up against 10 years ago. Maybe they'll scatter when the shots ring out like in Austin. Maybe your eardrums will be intact after you pop off your AR in a mostly enclosed space. Maybe you won't be disoriented. Maybe you won't be deaf. Maybe you can maintain positive control of your weapon and your steering wheel while all this is going on. All I know is I wasn't that high speed back then and I definitely don't think I'm that high speed now. What's your experience?

I get that you want to share your opinion, but in my humble opinion also, I will disregard other opinions as the only opinion that matters is my own, because it actually still does make sense.

I think this is where a .410 revolver like the Judge or Governor actually make some sense. Load em up with Dragons Breath. You wanna see everyone run for the hills,...nothing will make these punks break contact like setting them on fire!

How? HOW?? HOW??? HOW???? How are you people getting my post so misconstrued and discombobulated to the point where you are not reading what I said and adding things to my words that I had NEVER said????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

I. NEVER. TALKED. ABOUT. EMPLOYING. IT. FROM. THE. INSIDE. OF. THE. VEHICLE.

Quote me where I said that I was going to employ it from the inside of the vehicle. I'd like to see where this baseless accusations, bloviated derp, wasted verbiage, extrapolated garbage, are all coming from.

And when you don't find it, wouldn't it be prudent to extend the olive branch with an apology???

What's your experience? That last statement was intended to allow you to elaborate on your usage and knowledge of employing a rifle. That was the olive branch.

Die thread.... just die and fade away. Every time I click on the new post in the "Re: Antifa and BLM now stopping traffic at gunpoint - video" thread it isn't related to the thread title, it is posts from seemingly angry people venting at other seemingly angry people. There have been some valiant attempts to get it back on topic. but alas they have failed.

Here is my attempt. If I have the bad luck to encounter an Antifa crowd blocking my way and planning on hurting me I want to be driving one of the trucks from Soylent Green.

the beauty of discussion sites, one learns who, what , where ect. problem is so much dis information provided by someone with a myopic view of a situation or method, and it helps to provide all information in regards to a method, or way of making a situation or tool work, to ignor or brush off someones opinion, when is some cases it would perhaps enlighten some to a better, faster, easier approach to a situation. Egos don't work in real life, except to create a shield to hide the misgivings of the egotistical persons or individual.
Life is full of dissapointments in our decisions, best to find out the best paths from those that have already failed and found the one that works for them.

and for the op. all the anti's need a whooping, and found out, and made to be responsible for the wanton destruction of public and private property, garnishment, perhaps jail, but a servere punishment through out.
and again, jmo, and beat it up if you want, nothing like a good discussion.

That last statement was intended to allow you to elaborate on your usage and knowledge of employing a rifle (sic) [from inside a vehicle].

I'm still trying to determine where you guys are getting he said he was going to employ a long arm from inside a vehicle. I've re-read the entire thread and it appears that contention has been made up from whole cloth.

Good catch. I could see how that would be the potential implication. I never saw an elaboration on usage. Which is why I wanted clarification on experience or knowledge. Since it seems the rest of the thread had devolved into the entertaining level of intelligentsia we've all come to expect from the internet.

Back to the uh blockades or checkpoints.

Here's a realistic video of someone attempting to use their vehicle to exit, it becoming immobile and then switching over to a weapon.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KxeNxaJqPbE

Unless this dude had his rifle already strapped over his chest. He'd probably leave it. I suppose he could be driving around with it unsecured in the passenger seat, or in some fancy vehicle mount. This isn't an ideal example.

Here's another video where someone was forced to fight from the vehicle.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NotxWhD_s3U

Vehicle comes to a stop, driver fires his weapon, see's an opportunity to drive away. Gets out of Dodge.

If a person were to take some sort of fighting rifle course you could theoretically employ an AR. If we were to take apart those two videos, would adding an AR improve their ability to engage and escape?
