Hollywood Stuntz gang assault, he had to stop and was pulled out and beaten. A rifle in the backseat for emergencies only, would/could have stopped that better than nothing at all, which is what did happen. But whatever, you wanting to be a victim is one thing, but trying to talk the rest of us into being willing victims is entirely another, and for that you will be told to mind your own business as I refuse to be talked down and lectured to by some person with absolutely no regards for the victims at all.
Never heard of firebase gloria. However, I can tell you about Irish, Tampa, Mortarritaville, Team Cadillac, and Operation Mountain Thrust.
Just because you cannot think of of useful way for having a rifle available for self defense, doesn't mean that there isn't a useful and legal means for having one. But it does explain your lack of training and expertise on said subject.
No one ever spoke of getting out, that was all on you. Besides, all I can say is that drivers drive until they can't anymore, and sometimes that happens and cannot be avoided.
Again, a lot of us already have BTDT, and already know what to do, please stay off of that soapbox.
Taking a what and a what with what and what is hearsay, false narratives, and other mumbo jumbo.
Chill out, and let people discuss and not be so sky id falling at the others. You are not our shepherd, so please act accordingly.

Slow to action, if you can even get it to action.
Leaning out the window in a crowd? Who's getting the guy who's gonna drag your ass out from behind and beat you to death?
Using stupid mags that jam? Sounds par for the course. Make a reliable system not so much.
Multiple fails.
Wheres your situational awareness? What's blocking you in from behind.
You just wanna shoot someone?
I get it getting pissed. I do it myself lots, considered an AR pistol for a while. It's still not gonna be deployable unless it's in your lap.
Killing someone will be a last resort. If I gotta carry a rifle in the car the world will have gone mad max and wannabe anarchists are not going to be my primary concern. They will die in the first days.
I guarantee you if you start up arming yourself IT WILLBE USED AGAINST YOU AS YOU WERE LOOKING FOR TROUBLE. Why else carry an AR all of the sudden and drive with it laying on you lap. After all that's the only way you will be able to use a rifle while driving. Weather that tactic will be successful by the prosecutor will depend on the size of your pocketbook lawyer and jury.
FLAME AWAY
I said bringing an AR, I never said on how it was going to be implemented while driving did I? Nope, I did not. That was all on you, so simma down.
And since when was a Magpul D60 an unreliable magazine prone to jamming or even stupid? I must have missed that memo, please show it to me with three witnesses that witnessed a friend of a friend's cousins guy he knows, telling that tale.
Plus I'm not the person that said anything about leaning out, just the AR15 and the D60 that made some tool get unhinged for some very inexplicable reasons.
Multiple fails indeed so far from your post.
You talk as if some of us have never been to war, go read the mil introduction thread, quite a few of us on here actually do know about situational awareness, as well as doing risk assessments and contingencies.
You want to let them be terrorists and pointing guns at people that have done no wrong and were caught by surprise??? Why are you against stand your ground and castle laws???
it's not about being pissed, it's a discussion. And nobody said anything about driving with it readily available or using it behind the wheel, so again, wind your neck in.
There have been plenty of legal self defense shoots, so the only thing you are guaranteeing is a very misinformed and horrible opinionated outlook of the situation. SO NO, IT WILL NOT SO LONG AS YOU DO IT LEGALLY AND WAS JUSTIFIABLE. And again, no one mentioned having it in their lap FFS, that is all, you selectively imagining that.
Flame away? Nope, but I will tell you to cool your heels and chill out.

Christ almighty indeed. You went full stupid and and is coming back for more apparently. Isn't it high time for you to act your age and learn how not to be unhinged at other people for their thoughts that triggered you so immensely? And there is nothing tacticool (I don't even know why you're obsessed with mentioning that slang it absolutely means nothing does nothing, LMAO) about it, there's just tools being mentioned and that was IT. The rest you manufactured out of nowhere and then inserted it as IF you wouldn't get called out on it. Whatever, I'm just as done with a mentally deficient person that is obviously a closeted fudd, who thinks that what he says needs to be heard at those he allows himself to be self triggered over.
